Steve Barham
Steve Barham lives on an organic smallholding in the West of Ireland, looking after woodland, fruit vegetables and flowers, and people with special needs.
Whenever he can he goes rambling, both home and abroad, and relishes the prospect of a few days or weeks on the road. A committed environmentalist, he was trained as a documentary photographer and focused on the damage wrought by mankind, supplying picture libraries and published in various periodicals.
Now content to document his wanderings and celebrate nature’s remaining beauty, he continues to write articles as an excuse to get his boots on and explore, and hopefully inspire others to do the same.
He has hiked in most European countries, America, Australia, New Zealand, India and Africa and is currently completing the 650km GR249 circumnavigation of Malaga province in Southern Spain.
His micro adventures can be followed on stevebarhamramblingman.wordpress.com.
