Iain holds the Mountain Leader and International Mountain Leader qualifications and worked for several years within the adventure travel industry both leading groups and training walking holiday leaders. He was the INWA national coach for Nordic Walking in Scotland and for many years worked supporting and training health walking groups throughout the country with the Scottish Government funded ‘Paths For All’ project.
Previous European adventures have taken him across the Ukrainian and Slovakian Carpathian mountain chain, the Rondane in Norway, Swedish Lapland, the French Alps, Spanish and Catalan Pyrenees and the beautiful Picos de Europa. Iain is happiest exploring his favourite local ranges from the Cairngorms to northwest Scotland (where he lived for many years) and the Lake District.
Iain runs his own training and educational business consultancy and lives in Perthshire
